100 years ago an immigrant from Japan was told he wouldn't survive his battle with "consumption" after coming to work the sugar cane fields. A century later Danzan Ryu Jujitsu is practiced in hundreds of dojo across the country, and we have revived the legacy in his hometown of Hilo, Hawai'i.
